Travel The World: Insurance Issues |
Travel the World: Insurance Issues
Do you often eat completely unknown food or drink an unknown drink
without any precaution? Probably not. The same is true with
international travelling and international flights to exotic locations.
If you have no protection against what might happen to you while
travelling, you are in danger. Life insurance may not be enough,
especially if you travel Africa. You must have proper travel health
insurance, because in some African countries only this insurance can
help you cover the cost of medicine and treatment if you have a case of
yellow fever, which is still a problem in many countries of equatorial
Africa. Travel health insurance can be good both for international
flights and for local travels - if you are brave enough to venture a
few hundred kilometers deep into real Africa to see the local
sightseeings.
When you travel
Japan,
the situation is different - it is extremely unlikely you will have a
case of an exotic disease here, however, you will still need life
insurance and especially travel health insurance. It can prove
essential, because local medicine can boast extremely high quality of
treatment at extremely high prices at the same time. Your health
insurance can certainly help you save your health - at least your
nerves by saving the contents of your wallet. If you want to travel
Japan, it's also a good idea to include the clause about accident
insurance into your policy, because traffic in Japan is very intense.
What is more, it's a left-hand driving just like in the UK, so in the
unfortunate case of an accident you will receive a compensation. You
won't get used to this traffic in a few days that you will most
probably spend in Japan if you are on a business trip or holiday there,
but the money you receive can at least make your lesson less painful.
